Shepherd's Sofa

Why did we choose the name Shepherd’s Sofa …
In some cultures, the Shepherd’s Tree is believed to have symbolic meaning. In Zulu culture, for example, it is considered a sacred tree and is often associated with protection, strength, and the ancestors. These individuals often relied on trees for shade and other resources while tending to their flocks. The tree is well adapted to dry conditions and can be used for erosion control and providing shade and habitat for wildlife. Like the Shepherd tree, Shepherd’s Sofa aims to be the sacred conduit to Mpumalanga, offering its partners protection, nourishment, and strength. Here we congregate as a province, talking about our business on the Sofa before we move on to our subsequent milestones.  Aims & Goals One of the critical aims of Saturn Media House is to provide accurate and reliable information about Mpumalanga to its audience, including news, current affairs, and other relevant information.

Saturn Media House also aims to educate and inform its audience on various issues, including social, political, and economic matters. Saturn Media House will not get involved in matters about transparency and accountability: Saturn Media House aims to not report on corruption, maladministration, and other forms of wrongdoing.
Saturn Media House will be providing a platform for diverse voices and opinions.
Saturn Media House promotes economic growth and development by reporting on business and investment opportunities and highlighting issues that may impact the economy of Mpumalanga. All aims, and goals are based on our Values system, Integrity, Piety, and Stewardship.
Goals – A Film and one documentary for 2024 with Shepherd’s Sofa still running.
